Today I'm finally back from Branson, Missouri. It was a 9-hour drive, and it was really hard to sit still for the whole trip. When we(or I) first went to Branson, there were full of hills. The traffic looks almost like a roller coaster where the road goes up and then goes down. There were a lot of fun rides, and activites to go to and lots of good shows to watch (unlike the shows in chicago).
On the first day, all we did was we look for the motel and then stay for the night. Obviously, my parents were too busy planning on which shows to watch. We didn't actually go out for for meals at that time, so we had to call it a day. The swimming pool was little bit shallow at the deep end. It only reached up to 6 ft deep. Plus he pool was warm so, it wasn't really that bad.
On the next day, we went on the tour ride, then we went to the butterfly museum. It turns out that it was a just a small room filled with butterflies and a chart with all the names in it. On the other night, we went on the river boat known as the "showboat". History says that showboat one of the best shows in Branson. We actually have on the boat. Also, my cousin arrived there just in time to eat with us. He also going spend the vacation with us.
On the third day, we went to a titanic museum to look around, then we just ate lunch at the buffet. There aren't any good foods to eat in there, especially when they mention, "Best steak and chicken restaurant in Branson." And then that night, we ate dinner at the island fire with all the polynesian dancers from Samoa. It was before when we watch their show. The samoan warriors were talented on their fire twirling moves. The dancers are very attractive  Too bad I didn't get a chance to meet them all.
Another day, we mostly went on the shopping spree at the strip mall. It was not really interesting to look around but, at least we did. It was really hot in Branson. Usually, the temperature would be slightly less than 100 degrees. It was really painful to walk in the sun. Especially, we had to drive around the block filled with steep hills and heavy traffic. During the afternoon, we watch the magic show starring Kirby Van Burch. People say that he is a talented illusionist. Then, we went to other theatres to watch the shanghai acrobats. They were fantastics on all of their tricks. The shows was flawless, and their music backgrounds were inspirational.
And then yesterday, it was time to leave my cousin there with his parents since they're going to stay for a whole week. While we're on our way home, we went to Meramac Caverns to take a good picture rather than the giant arch in St. Louis. We didn't pass by St. Louis because it was raining, so there was no point watching the arch from the distance. To be honest, the Meramac Caverns wasn't exactly what I had in mind. We arrived home at 11 last night.
For all the trip that I've been through, it wasn't really exciting than the last vacation. I realize that all we did to look around and sit around while watching the shows. It wasn't really something that I would enjoy my vacation. So, my trip would be... so-so.
